Discover Coasteering and the Arrábida Natural Park with WIND – Center of Mountain Activities, a group of highly qualified specialists in Coasteering, and nature and adventure sports for more than 30 years.

The intertidal coastal zone of the Arrábida Natural Park is the perfect place for Coasteering. With misterious caves to explore, secret beaches of Portinho da Arrábida and Ribeiro do Cavalo, and more than a dozen jumps in between of 2 and 8 meters high, to the crystal blue waters of one of the world’s most beautiful bays, in between the picturesques village of Sesimbra and city of Setúbal, less than an hour by car from Lisbon.

In Coasteering you will begin with a safety briefing and an introduction to your guide/instructor and Coasteering gear. Then we will move on a speedboat to the activity’ starting point, which will be constantly by our side, and during whih you will learn more about the regional fauna, flora and geology, while you go through rocky and aquatic áreas, using multiple techniques, including rock climbing (low technical and difficulty levels), swimminhg and jumps... many jumps into the water! Equiped with buoyancy aids and individual protection gear, without the aid of any artificial mean (e.g. zip-line or steel cables), allowing for a more dynamic and immersive progression into the nature. At the end of the Coasteering experience, you will return to the starting point on our speedboat.

As an active member of the National Coasteering Charter (NCC), the 1st international organization of safe Coasteering promotion, we follow their strict directives and high standards of safety in the practice of this sport.

Whether you are beginner or experient, it is ideal to enjoy by yourself or in group, with your friends, family and/or partner, celebrate birthdays, bachelor(ettes), or school or corporate events, accessible to everyone.

Requirements

✔ Under aged children must be accompanied by a responsible adult or must present a declaration signed by their legal tutor(s) giving the express consent of the children participation.
✔Recommended minimum age: 12 years old.
✔ Knowing how to swim is mandatory.

Special Terms

‣ Experience subject to restrictions due to the meteorological conditions or other logistic and safety conditions;
‣ Experience operates on a 2 person minimum attendance per course;
‣ If the above conditions aren’t met, we will propose alternative experiences or the experience re-schedule;
‣ Duration of the experience depends on the group dynamic and progression.
